CSR/Universal Teller– Collingswood, NJ

William Penn Bank, a local, community bank, is seeking to hire a Customer Service Representative (CSR)/Universal Teller to join our team at our new location in Collingswood, NJ. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys cross-selling Bank products and services and providing quality customer service to further customer relations. Ability to travel to any Bank branch to fulfill staffing requirements is required. Minimum of two years banking experience is required. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Open and process new accounts with accuracy.
  • Cross-sell the Bank’s services and products.
  • Identify and refer new opportunities to Manager.
  • Research and verify account information, customer inquiries and issues.
  • Assist in answering the telephone and transferring calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Accurately and efficiently process all types of banking transactions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Bank products and services. Knowledge of consumer lending/loan platform preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees.
  • Cash handling accuracy.
  • Essential computer skills to operate on-line teller terminal and other standard office equipment.
  • Successful completion of teller training and any other compliance training deemed necessary by the Bank.
